Who we are.

The mission of Bronco Wall Street Club is to prepare its members for high finance careers, including investment banking and private equity, and to help them secure competitive internships and full-time positions upon graduation. The organization pursues this mission through three areas of focus: case competitions, firm visits, and structured training.

Case competitions provide members with real-world, hands-on experience addressing the type of problems encountered in professional practice. The ACG Cup and a private equity case at Broad are among the competitions members participate in each year.

Firm visits provide members with direct, in-person exposure to investment banks, private equity firms, and other leading firms in the industry, offering insight into how these firms operate and the opportunity to build relationships with the professionals who work there.

Training covers the technical, behavioral, and recruiting preparation required to compete for roles in the industry, supported by a bank of internal training modules and a network of alumni contacts available to members.

Bronco Wall Street Club was founded in September 2025 at Western Michigan University's Haworth College of Business, in response to the absence of a structured path into investment banking and private equity at WMU comparable to those available at target schools. While student interest in the field was present, the training, access, and network required to compete for these roles had not yet been established.

The organization was built to address that gap. What began as a small group of students sharing resources and preparing for interviews together has since developed into a formal organization with a structured curriculum, an expanding network of industry relationships, and members who compete alongside peers from institutions with considerably longer-established programs.

BWSC is led by a student executive board and supported by a group of industry advisors who provide professional guidance on the organization's direction. The organization's objective is to place members in competitive finance roles and to continue building a reputation and network that benefits each successive class of members.
